No admission test will be conducted for admission to Class 1. All
applications received will be divided on the basis of 7 categories as
follows:-
i. Children
of transferable Central Government Employees including ex
servicemen.
ii. Children
of non-transferable Central Government Employees including ex servicemen.
iii.
Children of transferable/non-transferable employees of Autonomous
bodies/Public Sector Undertaking/Institutes of Higher Learning of
the Government of India.
iv. Children
of transferable state Government Employees.
v. Children
of non-transferable state Government Employees.
vi. Children
of transferable/non-transferable employees of Autonomous bodies/Public
Sector
Undertaking/Institutes of Higher Learning of the state Government.
vii.
Children from any other category.

1
|
- A child must be
at least 5 years old on Ist April in the academic year in which admission
is being sought for class 1
- An upper age
limit for admission is fixed as the minimum age limit plus 2 years

Class II
and above (Except XI)
|
- An admission
test will be conducted and admission will be given in order of merit and
category wise.
- Admission test
would be conducted at the level of the annual examination of the class
preceding the one to which admission is sought.
- Admission test
will be conducted in the following subjects:

Admission will be
made in the order of merit in the sequence of categories of priorities on the
basis of Board results of Class X in the following manner.
- Science with
Maths: A minimum of 55% marks in maths and a minimum of 55% marks in
Science and a minimum of 60% marks in maths and science taken together
and a minimums of 55% marks in the aggregate of all subjects.
- Science without
Maths:A minimum of 60% marks in Science alone and a minimum of 55% marks
in the aggregate of all the subjects.
- Science with
Informatics Practices: A merit list will be prepared based on the marks
obtained in Maths and science mentioned in (1).
- Humanities
Stream: All students who have qualified class X under CBSE Pattern will
be eligible.

RESERVATIONS

a. In all fresh
admissions 15% seats will be reserved for S.C. and 7. 5% for ST. candidates.
b. 3% seats will be horizontally reserved for handicapped candidates
